Andy Truby has seen it all within the commercial furniture game. With over 30 years industry experience, in two countries, he brings a solutions-orientated approach to his role as Project Manager for Infinity Commercial Furniture.
Starting his career in England, Truby has worked all through the supply chain: from manufacturing to installation. He has been a factory manager, operations manager and senior project manager.
Truby arrived in Australia 20 years ago, to set up the factory and operations for his UK employer.
“The biggest change I have seen during my time is that lead times have reduced for fulfilment and installation of client projects,” said Truby. “I feel my experience will help assist our client’s in meeting their project deadlines.”
“Having worked in manufacturing of commercial furniture, along with warehousing, logistics, right through to final installation, I know all of the little intricacies, the challenges that can pop up, which enables me to find the right solutions.”
ICF requires someone at the helm to assist with the next stage of growth, as the company continues to grow in Sydney, Brisbane, Canberra and Melbourne.
“I like the way the company is run and the enthusiasm the owner [Darren Mifsud] brings to the business,” said Truby. “It’s a very energetic work environment and the company is growing.”
Managing Director, Mifsud, is excited that someone of Truby’s calibre has joined ICF.
“Andy is one of the hardest working individuals you’ll come across,” said Mifsud. “The commitment he has shown in a short time is infectious.”
“Nothing is too much of a problem for Andy. All he cares about is making the client happy and delivering the best possible outcome.”
Infinite Possibilities. Infinitely Better.
